SUCCESS! FRANCISCO SETS A NEW WORLD RECORD of the longer nonstop distance in Kitesurf, fulfilling 200 nautical miles and surpassing the previous mark of 199 miles, established by a North American. Francisco who started this NOT NORMAL adventure yesterday, around 3 pm, in the Douro Marina (Porto), has achieved this impressive mark today around 2 pm near to the coast of Sines.
But it ain’t stops here…the adventure continues… Francisco is determined to raise the bar and establish the new world record in 300 nautical miles. This is 100 miles more than the previous record!
At this time Francisco is passing the Cabo de São Vicente in Sagres and then he enters in the final stretch to the Lagos Marina where this adventure will end.
If you’re in Algarve do not hesitate to appear in Marina de Lagos tonight around 7-9 pm (best estimation possible), or look for a black MINI kite in the air along the coast between Lagos and Sagres.
